Plot:
This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Fuutarou Yamada. It consists of two parts: "Hollow", which tells the story of the battle of eight young swordsmen drawn by fate to break the curse imposed by the Satomi family, and "Real", which describes the true story of the writer Takizawa Bakin, who wrote 180 chapters in 28 years. Yakusho Koji plays the protagonist Bakin, and Uchino Masahiro plays his good friend, the painter Katsushika Hokusai. Isomura Yuto plays Makin's son Sohaku, Kuroki Hana Sohaku's wife Lu, and Materajima Shinobu plays Makin's wife Momo. In the "Hollow" part, Fukihime, who controls the fate of the Eight Dog Warriors, is played by Tsuchiya.
